The 11th was my dad's 83rd birthday and we had a party Saturday the 13th. This year we had pirate hats. I got up at 6:30 Saturday morning and started on the vegetable soup, it was a big pot of soup and every one had 1-3 bowls, it was really good, if I say so myself. We also had cake, yellow cake with chocolate icing along with vanilla ice cream along with brownies. Yes, enough sugar to put me in a diabetic coma...lol.
We had a great time!

Looks like you had so much fun! Love the pirate hats. I don't think there are 83 candles on that cake though.... :)
